Hi
Another
important point for tea makers is the fact that ALL
soluble humates ( and that also includes Humisolve)
are a basic salt of humic and fulvic acids being either a K-humate or Na-Humate. The pH of those powders are
extremely basic (high) and we all know that fungi don’t like a basic environment ( or should I
say they prefer a lower pH –around 5- environment). My
suggestion would be whenever testing those soluble black powders ( or even actually using them) to pre dissolve them with plain water in a bucket and them measure the ph. At this point it would be easier to actually adjust the pH of the bucket solution to a more neutral or even lower pH if you are aiming for fungi. Does
my suggestion make sense to you ? -- I
have the full text Dr. Faust sent along with tests as to what is in it. I use the
stuff in my teas after O.K. didn't you say you were testing
Humics? Cheers, Jeff
