NetChange workshop for 1996 COOL Conference
NetChange, Session 5, Saturday 11:00- 12:30, Fourth Floor Lab, Monroe

Workshop Description:
One of the most common pitfalls of youth and progressive organizing is letting ourselves be beat by technology. NetChange is a new project working to help student activists by utilizing the power of the Internet. In this workshop, members of the staff and Editorial Board of NetChange will discuss the resources currently available on the Internet. We will also look at how the World Wide Web is changing the ways people communicate and how we can define innovative new ways of organizing using the Internet as a tool.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to better use the Internet as a resource for activism and organizing.

Ideal workshop size 25 to 50 participants.
