Greetings,
This morning we observed and photographed a light phase adult northern
fulmar sitting on the water about 100 meters offshore near the east end
of Shackleford Banks, North Carolina. In a dozen or so pelagic trips and
several dozen coastal trips out of Beaufort over the last 8 months this
is the first fulmar we've seen.
