Folks,
A small crowd of nature folks stayed the weekend at the Cape Lookout
Research Station and endured the cold rainy weather all weekend. We did
manage to find some decent birds today starting with a White-crowned
Sparrow, 2 Pine Siskins and several Northern Rough-winged Swallows all
found in the lawn at the station. At Cape Lookout Point I picked up a lifer
thanks to Magnus a Roseate Tern!
I took lots of tern and shorebird photos but doubt with the light we had
they will be much to talk about. I hopeful photos were a Black Skimmer in
flight and mating royal and sandwich terns!
