Dropped by the north side (Hwy 136) and had a single Lesser Yellowlegs, 10+
Leasts, 2 Pectorals, and one I'm not so sure about. In profile, it resembled
the LY, but was 2-3 inches shorter. It didn't have much color at all on the
upper breast or any discernable belly band, wings were darker than scapulars
and sides - if I had to call it I'd say Solitary. Sure would be nice to get
closer than 70-100 yards from the birds. Even with good light, I'm not sure
how anyone could legitimately call some of these birds at those
distances....Oh, and there was a bushel of GBH, Great Egret, and Killdeer.
And lets not leave out the single little Green Heron.
