Hi everyone,
Today I saw another group of Thrushes in the woods near the house eating
Dogwood berries. I'm sure this is a new group because haven't seen any
Thrush activity since 10/7. The last mixed flock stayed for 5 days. I kind
of think these will move on more quickly because of the cooler weather and
being a bit later in the season, but who knows. Did see Wood and Swainson's
so far.
Also had the first Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers of the fall, an adult and
an immature.
Heard the Pileateds a lot yesterday and got to see the male today.
Heard a Barred Owl calling yesterday at 12:45 in the afternoon!
Today had a Black-throated Green Warbler first fall female.
