WOW!! After reading about birdbaths online the past two days, all of a sudden
there was lots of activity today at my birdbath!!
A special treat were 3 Cedar Waxwings. Such elegant birds!! They were feeding
with 3-4 Robins. A Yellow-rump Warbler, Blue Jay, American Goldfinch,
Carolina Wren, and chickadee joined in too during the 1 hour rush hour lunch.
I also had White-breasted and Brown-headed Nuthatches, titmouse, and a Downy
Woodpecker eating seed and suet.
Too bad I already counted this week for Project Feederwatch!! That's okay, I
had a sapsucker and RC Kinglet for the count Monday.
I'm still looking for hummingbirds. My pineapple sage is wilted today after
the cold last night. Oh well!!
Stay warm! Happy birding!
