Jay in the meantime is having it out with Progressive printbound presspeople of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/\">Mother Jones<\/a> over <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/news\/feature\/2007\/07\/fight_different.html\">their Politics 2.0 package<\/a>. The discussion crosses several fora, but the place to start is Jay&#8217;s PressThink blog post <a href=\"http:\/\/journalism.nyu.edu\/pubzone\/weblogs\/pressthink\/2007\/06\/27\/mother_jones.html\">&#8220;Mother Jones invites you to question if the Politics 2.0 revolution really lives up to its hype.&#8221;<\/a> where <a href=\"http:\/\/journalism.nyu.edu\/pubzone\/weblogs\/pressthink\/2007\/06\/27\/mother_jones.html#comment48660\">the MoJoes confess somewhat to  attempting to debunk the net as a political force in the comments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of debunking and reconsidering and rehabilitating, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Uncle_Remus\">Uncle Remus<\/a> creator and story collector Joel Chandler Harris&#8217; house\/museum gets a re-inspection and his writing and agenda get attention in the NYTimes as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/07\/01\/us\/01remus.html\">&#8220;Rehabilitating Uncle Remus (and His House in Atlanta)&#8221;<\/a> a tale of times and complexity. Will Uncle Remus&#8217; wisdom and African culture carrying be taught and considered in the context of Harris and the South&#8217;s complicated and difficult (and decidedly wrong noted) song? <a href=\"http:\/\/wrensnestonline.com\/\">The Wren&#8217;s Nest<\/a>, Chandler&#8217;s home and historic site, aims to try.
