Not every book on sale, or every important book, or even every book in English, but simply every book &#8211; a key part of our planet&#8217;s cultural legacy.&#8221;[1]<\/p>\n<p>   In 2005 a small group met at the Internet Archive offices to establish The Open Content Alliance (OCA), a group of cultural, technology, nonprofit, and governmental organizations from around the world that will help build a permanent archive of multilingual digitized text and multimedia content.[2]<\/p>\n<p>   Kirill Fesenko, Richard Szary, Simon Spero, and Donald Sizemore represented UNC at this year&#8217;s meeting.
