I'm moving!

I graduated from college at the end of July and have been planning
on moving down to Silicon Valley to look for work. Well, I spoke tonight
to a friend of mine who lives in San Jose, at the heart of SV and he
offered to put me up for a while until I can find a job, which shouldn't
take long. I'll be there by tomorow evening.

It's going to be so killer living in "the valley"! All the good
graphics companies are down there - SGI, S3, Nvidia, 3Dfx and others. If
I am lucky, maybe I can score a job at one of those places! If not, there
are a billion other computer jobs available down there. And of course,
being at the center of the action in the computing world will give me even
more opportunities to advocate GGI. Maybe I'll finally get to meet Linus
- Transmeta is in Santa Clara, about fifteen minutes away from where I'll
be living.

Speaking of which, the guy I'm staying with also uses Linux and I
have free run of his system to continue my GGI development work. He's got
a nice PII-233 with a Riva 128, but even better is that he's planning on
purchasing two 12MB Voodoo II cards! Now THAT will be fun to develop on!
I should be set up and back here on the list by tomorrow evening or
Wednesday afternoon.

	Wish me luck, guys. Later!

Jon
