OK, the error I got was with 1024x768 on the glide target. It works with
that resolution without tiles, though. Tile works fine with 800x600, but
as you say, it is a bit of a problem that the difference is so big. I
aligned the screens at the bottom instead of the top, so that I'd at least
see the gnome panel on both screens, but I can still lose a screen at the
top. 1024x768 would be a lot better...:)
