"So why the hell do I waste your time when there are no
servers? Well, if you
have a network, you can hopefully run the clients on a Hurd
machine and display
remotely on any other machine with X. Then, with xlib6g and
xlib6g-dev, we
can now make proper packages for things that support X
partly (like gs and
groff). Last but not least, we can even work on heavy X
stuff (Gtk, GGI
[hello Aaron], whatever)."

Not yet. We are lacking POSIX threads, so performance will
be a bit... mmh.
However, I am sure Aaron will want to try it as soon as I
got the native
development environment working (which is mostly done).

This is a long essay. I'm not going to quote any of it. :)

There are more the previous month, but I'm too lazy to list
it. Check the mailing list archives. :)

Hmm. Bad idea since KGI is not stable, yet?

That I can find out.

I will forward my mail to the Hurd list to see who I can
dig up. :)

That I don't know.
