I am new in this newsgroup,
I am an amateur gardener and I need you help:
I friend of mine gave me an "acer psudoplatanus" (I think this
is very close to its name in Latin). The three is 50 years old,
and the stem is aroun 4 feet perimeter. This three is from
Australia and was introduced in the European Gardens by the
french gardeners in the XVIII century.
The problem is that I need a pull-truck to take off the
huge three and a big truck to move to my garden. This is
very expensive and may be the old three can not survive.
Do you have some information about this three, how big
are the roots?, can survive an 50 years old three a
displacement?
