Hi, this is my first time posting to this news group. I grew my first
vegetable garden last year. We had a drought and I didn't harvest a lot but
what I got was delicious, and free of pesticides. I have already started my
seeds for this year using plant lights and they are growing like crazy. Very
satisfying.

I want to start composting potato peels, banana peels, eggshells, etc. I live
in a suburban area in the northeastern united states and the neighbors kind of
frown on that sort of thing. Is it possible to do this using dirt, large
buckets etc in my garage so the nosy neighbors won't see the compost. (I don't
have a fenced yard and can't afford one right now.)

Would also like to intro earthworms to the mix. My yard soil is so compact
there are no earthworms. I grew last years garden in containers on my patio.
(Easier and less back-breaking than tilling.) Can they safely be used in
composting in the garage setup I'm thinking about. I'm completely in the dark
on this. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanx in advance.
