Dr. Rev Chuck raises the issue of camouflaging outdoor
compost bins and adds that giant zinnias would be
impressive. The good Dr. may be on to something -
there are all sorts of possibilities.

We had the experience of living in a small town that
was also the home of a gossip. She used to go through
our garbage cans - presumably looking for something that
she might use to discredit us. My wife then scrubbed the
garbage cans, painted them a soft baby blue as a background
color and adorned them by painting a number of flowers on the
sides and on the top. They were not only impressive -
they were handsome!

It worked. She quit peeking and most everyone in town ended
up smiling. . . and it made dumping the garbage kind of fun.

A compost bin could be made into something special and it
might also be great fun to try.
