I would appreciate any ideas you could give me re low cost, quick
acting, organic soil amendments and fertilizers. I am renting a house
that hasn't been occupied in 15 years on the coast of washington state.
Aside from the massive pruning and shaping the soil is very sandy and
needs help in the garden beds and lawn (well yard). I work in a
restaurant and have access to unlimited eggshells and coffee grounds,
can I put these directly into the flower beds? Is there a good cheap
material that will help green up the grass? I know that I could buy an
assortment of products but I am challenging myself to do this in the
most resourceful and least expensive way possible. Thanks for your
input. Jeff jgmarcus@webtv.net
