I'm a Nurse and I called tide about that problem. They will send you a
free book on stains. They told me and it has always worked is use bath
bar soap, I use Dial wet the soap and srub the blood stain with it. Then
launder it as usual, repeat if needed. Grass stains come out well with
the bar soap and ammonia, pour it in your washer add clothes and wash,
this also whitens football uniforms. My sons played in Ga red clay and
their football coach told me to use the ammonia. Bad grease stains, like
car grease, use crisco shorening, rub into stain then launder. Works
great, I don't know why. but I have done it for years with great
results. I raised nine kids, so I have lerned a thing or two about
stains. If you want to rewhiten something that has yellowed, boil it on
the stove with tide, comes out new.
