The simplest, best, most efficient composter is a cylindrical unit
made from sturdy, galvanized, welded wire fencing. 7 lbs of fencing
can tidily contain hundreds of pounds of wet compost. The only
requirement for the bin is that the ground surface be reasonably level
and uniform, since the bin and contents work together to make a stable
pile. A bin like this is easy to remove from the pile for easy
turning or so that you can make another pile somewhere.

Regarding accelerator pellets, feel free to experiment, but I do not
think you will use them long term. It is my experience that the
longer I compost, the more I just want to let nature do its thing.
After you have been though one compost cycle, the finished or aged
product that you have is an excellent catalyst for fresh material.
