Wow! Only one posting? We organic gardeners surely have not run out of
things to share!! Are you referring to hardening of plants? If so,
what this means is the gradual placing of young plants (that have been
grown from seed inside) outdoors for increasing amounts of time until
they are accustomed to being outside. Or, perhaps tender perennials
such as rosemary that has been inside all winter. Many people do this
with the houseplants they keep inside over the winter. Does this help?
