Good point and yes, there is considerable hype and emotional reaction to the
"synthetic vs natural" debate. Which is unfortunate because the reader
should be able to judge on the basis of balanced information. Glyphosate
based herbicides are effective when used properly. Equally, poisons derived
from "natural" sources such as Rotenone are lethal to aquatic life. Poisons
are exactly that, a method to kill. It all boils down to appropriate and
responsible use and proper handling.
