The question was raised about the use of pressure treated
wood corrupting the soil in an organic garden.

Pressure treated wood is usually treated with a chlorinated
phenol [rather nasty stuff] and/or with organic arsenic salts
[also nasty stuff]. These materials will leach into the soil
and they are problem materials. The various Certified Organic
Standards usually prohibit the use of pressure treated wood
in certified organic sites.

I'd look for alternatives around food crops.
