Jerry & Chris Kamenzind ask for the name of a magazinwe
focused on organic gardening. The most popular magazine
of that type is "OG" by Rodale Press out of Emmauus, Pa.
A subscription costs about $25 per year for 8 issues.
I think that it's a reasonably good publication with a
focus on growing food crops in areas with seasonal climates.
It can be ordered on-line - I think the address is organicgardening.com.
This newsgroup is another good reference source on organic
gardening and IPM. One of the best references, in my opinion,
on IPM for food crops is "Pests of the Garden and Small Farm -
A Grower's Guide to Using Less Pesticide" by Mary Louise Flint -
a University of California Publication. Another is "Common-Sense
Pest Control - Least Toxic Solutions for your Home, Garden, Pets
and Community" by Olkowski, Daar, & Olkowski.
