Yes, I noticed this in my experiment when I used different class of
plant food in them. Of the 5 I watched during the experiment one died
dried up and otherone died appereantly because it lost all its inside
liquid; or at least that's the explanation that my teacher gave to the
weird red colored water that came out of the pot when i watered it.
The other 3 are healthy and growing, even when they got overdoses of
plant food just like the other two. I suppose that what you just said
is gonna be pretty useful to my writen work =) Thx.

that's right, I suppose I said so because I was really ignorant about
plants. When I went to buy the plant food I realized they were most of
all minerals and stuff. But the example of overdose of nutrients will
fit well my comparison to overdoses of vitamins in humans, which is,
after all, the goal of my experiment.
About how to save my plants, well, I think I no longer need that
information since two of them are already dead and the rest are still
healthy. But one funny thing I'd like to say is that the plant to
which I gave plant food to grow vegetables gave out more flowers in
average than the rest of the plants in the next day of placing the
overdose, and that plant got probably the biggest overdose since the
way in which the food came was not in pills but in powder. Maybe you
guys find a nice explanation or may find it interesting to research
about.
