Laws regarding livestock and gardening vary from town to town, your best bet
would be to contact your local town/city hall and/or the local zoning
department. As a general rule if you live in town livestock is prohibited.
The city/town gov't has final approval on anything planted or placed in the
right of way (usually a strip of land 20-30 feet from the center line of the
street).
