I have about twenty dogwoods in my newly bought garden, and 6 of them are
flowering dogwoods (C. florida), which have anthracnose. The leaves are
still on the trees, and in the worse case, the top leaves have shriveled.
All leaves are covered by the disease, though. The problem is important
where I live (zone 6 in MA).
By keeping the trees, am I furthering the general problem of anthracnose in
dogwods?
Should I get rid of them (breaks my heart) in order to stop the progress of
the disease?
Thanks for your input. Lisa
