Roundup kinda scares me because I intertwine my flowers with my
vegetables. I've been lucky in that I've planned ahead and many weeds are
shaded out before they can get going, plus the goat manure compost (we have
400 dairy goats here) has been relatively weed free.
I subscribe to Organic Gardening mag and they've done tests where
residuals stick around for at least a year, and now I guess there is a
strain of grass now that is completely immune to Roundup. Matter of time
there, I guess, there will be weed strains that won't care one bit how much
glyphosate you apply. Kinda like antibiotics.
With the warnig labels all over a bottle of Roundup I don't think it's
anything I want anywhere near me. Someone asked about paraquat. I'm going
to "pretend" that Roundup is made of paraquat and that's the end of that.
