A week or so ago, Paul James on Gardening By The Yard (HGTV) was
saying that moles can be fairly beneficial to the yard - they
generally leave roots alone, preferring to go after insects. They also
loosen and aerate the soil very effectively. His advice was to leave
'em alone.
