I will not be working on my lawn this fall, 1/2 acre of it, but I will do
it next fall. In the mean time, I would like to know if there is an FAQ
about having a nice lawn, and respecting the ecosystem at the same time.
When I see the amount of pesticides and herbicdes my neighbors throw on
theirs to make it look nice (and it does look nice), I am appalled.

I think I can enrich the soil by planting something this year which I could
till under next fall, to get a good start. I was unable to locate an FAQ
about that.
If there is none, could someone tell me what preparations I could make now
for a next year face lift?

Thanks in advance. Lisa
