I had a neighbor two years ago who was spraying his photinias trying to
control some sort of problem. Unfortunately, he was using a hose end
sprayer, and much of the spray was going right onto my vegetable patch.
Of course he had no idea what he was spraying. Of course it was a
systemic. I was p......
His yard was a chemical-insect-disease battle zone. the odor was
frequently intolerable. His yard looked shopworn, in spite of all his
work. If he only knew how much less work the right plants in the right
conditions are!
Oh well. We moved.
