Haven't noticed, been using well water since 1973!!! But my guess is a lack of
treatments, including chlorination/flouridation, plus the trace minerals that
exist in your locality. This includes where your main water is coming from. I
notice you're logging in through Michigan State, which means Great Lakes
sludge.
