Thanks, though to be honest it's a borrowed idea. I saw it mentioned
recently in Organic Gardening magazine and have seen it elsewhere
before. It's worked well for me, the winds in my area can get strong
with gusts that will make you lean to keep your balance, since I started
doing that I haven't lost a plant due to it being broken. I'll have to
try your improvement on it.

Now if anyone has suggestions for a cheap trellis for cucumbers and
beans that stores easily when done with, that would be great. Limited
storage space, so most PVC setups I've seen would be too bulky. So far
I've just strung twine to a nearby structure or used cages, but have two
new raised beds that will be totally without support and need a new
option, the cages aren't tall enough for some plants.
