I don't want to hurt Nancy Beaubaire's (new OG editor) feelings, but
yes, Karen, I agree with the "dull musings" comment. (Which issue did he
write about his dog?) Well, a really good thing is the coverage of the
organic standards subject. But though the magazine ought to cover
issues for new gardeners as well as experienced gardeners, I think some
of the stuff is a bit too elementary. I have just seen that Nancy B. is
also the editor of Country Living Gardener. Maybe a good way to put it
is that OG seems a little too much like that magazine and others like
it, kind of too "pretty", too much fluff, a bit less "technical" in the
organic gardening sense, than the way it was before, if you all know
what I mean. Hmmm, I don't know if I said it right, but maybe you
understand.
Bill, What is McG's new publication, do you know?
I would definitely, absolutely love to hear McG in person.
Hey Mike, if you read this newsgroup, might you think about coming to
Penn State? I'm sure lots of people here would love to hear you talk
and have lots of questions for you.
