.....who used to be allowed to run freely about our large fenced-in backyard
pushing her basketball around and eating weeds. Then one day she sat on her
haunches and somberly watched me commence the spring digging in the rockery
of our new home. And that certainly curtailed her freedom because the darn
rabbit decided to exercise her digging abilities but she was NOT selective
about where...and then she started chewing indiscriminantly! Go figure, eh?
So the point of this posting is to decide whether this member of the
family can contribute in some other way. Can I add her droppings to my
compost bin? Can I sprinkle them about as fertilizer without composting?
And can I use the odd handful of her rabbit food as fertilizer as well? And
yes, we did fly this part-hare/part-cottontail from our old home to the new
home along with the kids. Parents do the strangest things!:-))
