if you think you might be interested, i can send you seeds (in about 1-2
months) of Impatiens pallida aka jewelweed aka touch-me-not. it's a plant
that usually grows side by side with p.i. and you can wash your clothes in
juice from the impatiens, use the sap to rub on any infected part of your
body, even take a bath in it...in fact, you can guard yourself against the
effects of p.i. BEFORE you even touch it.
one precaution you need to know about regarding clothes/boots/shoes. if you
DO work in the mess, make sure you take off ALL your outer clothing BEFORE
entering your house or camp-tent.
it's a very volatile oil in p.i. and can turn around and infect anything you
touch (or your clothing)!!
