I have planted mostly old roses and black spot resistant roses in my
garden, but a few of my favorite ones have black spot, in some cases, the
plants are defoliated on about 2/3 of their height, in one case, no leaves
at all left. I want to keep my garden organic, and I have tried baking soda
sprays, with no results.
I have kept good sanitation practices all along, and it was a particularly
bad year for black spot, but I would like to not have such an infestation
next year.
Is there an organic way to prevent black spot on roses? I suppose that a
plant which has no leaves left for much of the season has fewer chances to
grow normally...
