Hi!

I rent a home in Albuquerque, NM. It is close to the river, and the soil is
extremely sandy. My landlord insists on maintaining a grassy lawn. We water
every other day in the summer, and it just kills me! On top of that, many areas
die out anyway. My landlord wants us to reseed. Last year we tried the grass
from Garden's Alive, but it died out by fall. The landlord will not take the
time or money to amend the soil properly. Does anyone know of a grass that does
well in sand? I don't care if its a clumping kind of grass. Some areas get sun
almost all of the day, some get shade most of the day. Please help! I know the
real answer is not to have a grass lawn, but I'm not allowed that option!
