Predator urine may be effective, but as a biologist I would recommend
that you use only indigenous predator urine. Cat or dog, and human. There is
some evidence that human urine/water solutions have been effective in
repelling moles, but I'm unaware of it's effect on squirrels. Live trapping
is probably the most effective method. How many squirrels are we talking
about here. I can't imagine you have enough to dig up your property to the
point where you need to do something about it.
