I'm moving to 3 acreas where the soil is very sandy. I would appreciate
any advice on what I can do to create a shady and colorful landscape. It's
located in upper lower Michigan near OSCODA. It has a lot of pine and some
oak on the level. There's a river that flows thru the property ans so I
have three levels. The upper level which is largely sand - the ridge level
which is full of birch, oak, ferns, and cedar trees. And finally the river
level. What grows well in sand which will provide color and shade. Any
advice is welcome. Thank you.
