Has anyone tried cat hair to deter moles? I don't have a problem with
moles, but bunnies, mice and voles do a number on my tulips. For years
I've been able to protect about 90% of the bulbs by stuffing a few
strands of cat fur into the emerging leaves. My cats are generous when
I comb them, so I'm able to share the fur with friends who are also
blessed with rodents. It certainly seems to help, and I can't imagine
any negative effects, except to the psyches of the rodents!
