How nice that you are concerned for them! Mine have been very pleased
with a 1/4 ratio (that is, one part sugar to four parts water). Some
people say that's a little weak, but it seems to be alright. I'd
certainly be interested to know if I'm not doing it correctly.
Don't bother with the red food coloring. They don't need it, and one
never knows what it might do to them.
