Well,then, don't do it unless you are in a locale where the
yard-Nazis compel you to. I don't. I'm on 4 acres, less than one
of which is defined as "yard". All of the leaves, deadfall, etc.
stay where they fall. Any leaves that fall inside the designated
"yard" get mulched in the two-or-three mowings each year. The
only leaves that I harvest for my veggie garden are from
introduced deciduous species, which includes only one tree.
