How is Patanjali reckoned in the Sri Vaishnava lineage? Is the Yoga Rahasya of Nathamuni a commentary on the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali?
What is the status of yOgAbhyasa in Sri Vaishnavism today? Is Yogi Krishnamacharya's commentary on Yoga Rahasya accepted in the pan-academic community of Sri Vaishnava acharyas?
Lastly, if Patanjali's tomes are accepted within the Sri Vaishnava context, how does his Mahabhasya, a commentary on Panini's tomes, compare? This since Panini had strong Shaiva leanings as we witness in Asthyadyayi.
Regards,
Jagan
