Adiyen has the following doubts and request that learned members to clarify kindly: 1. For salagarama aradhanai, as neivedhyam, should we present unboiled milk or boiled milk also can be shown as neivedhyam. In these days it is difficult to believe any manufacturer and scientists tell that non- boiled milk may contain harmful bacterias. DEAR SRI KOCCHAPPA :bOTH ARE FINE . NADATHUR AMMAL , AN ACHARYA OF KAANCHIPURAM HAS SERVED LORD VARADARAJA WARM MILK AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE LIKE A MOTHER WOULD PRESENT TO HER CHILD AND WAS CONFERRED THE TITLE OF AMMAAL TO THE LORD BY THE LORD HIMSELF . BHAKTHI BHAAVAM IS THUS MOST IMPORTANT . 2. I am told that there is no 'sesham' for milk, ghee etc. Hence, I presume that the part of the milk from the same milk satchet can be used for neivedhyam as well as for household purposes. YES , IT IS CORRECT . BUT , YOU MAY FEEL COMFORTABLE TO KEEP THE MILK USED FOR SUCCESSIVE DAYS OF PRESENTATION SEPERATELY FROM WHAT IS BEING CONSUMESD FROM THE SAME SATCHEL. YOU CAN ALSO ALTERNATE THE NAIVEDHYAM WITH FRUITS ETC . V.SADAGOPAN Kochappaa Yahoo!
