TIRUVIRUTTAM
And
THE AUSPICIOUS QUALITIES OF THE LORD (3)
---
11. He never bears the separation from them
(devotees).
                      "kaNNan viNNanaiyay! periyana
kAtam porudkO pirivana "
(Oh! One who is similar to the Lord's Abode of
limitless greatness and bliss! Just on my mentioning
of my journey about to undertake for earning, You are
unable to bear the even the idea of separation!)

12. He is adorned with a pleasant and beautiful Tulasi
garland captivating His devotees.

"itellAm inavE
IrkinRa cakkarat temperumAn kaNNan taNNantuzhAy
cArkinRa nannenjinAr"
(The good mind of mine is devoted to the cool and
pleasant Tulasi adorning my Lord, Who is holding a
wheel which is fierceful to the evil-minded.)

13. It is unbearable to keep away from Him.
                                                                "pArmuzhutum
tunivaLar kAtal tuzhAyait tuzhAvu taNvAdai tadintu
ini vaLai kAppavar Ar enai oozhikaL IrvanavE?"
(Who will save me from the misery of separation from
Him, whose pleasant Tulasi garland is still persisting
in my memory?)

14. BhAghavatas possess the knowledge and compassion
to show us His SrI VaikuNtam.
                                     "nIlac chutarvidu
mEniyammAn visumboor
       tErvana teyvamannIra kaNNO icchezhunkayalE"
(Your (Bhagavata's) eyes, which are like healthy fish,
remind us of the Abode of the Lord, whose body is as
bright as a precious bluish stone.)

15. Even after the long association, He looks as
beautiful as never seen before.

                "kadal kavarnta
          puyalOdulAm koNdal vaNNan punavEnkadat
temmodum
          payalOvileer, kollai kAkkinRa nALum
palapalavE"
(The Lord, of the Venkata hills, has the colour of the
fresh rainy-clouds which have just drawn the water
from the sea.)
