SrI: SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah: Dearest Srivaishnavas, You may reside in my heart for sometime. But I am not sure whether You would stay there for ever. For the case of Nappinnai PiraaTTi, You fought with seven Bulls and killed them effortlessly without uttering a word. Because there is no mention if You bhad taken her to MathurA or left her in Gokulam. Hence Please bless adiyEn (me) with abhayam (Do not fear- maa sucha:) so that I can rest assured. vidaikkulanka LEzhadarththu venRivERkaN maatharaar, kadikkalantha thOLpuNarntha kaaliyaaya! vElain^eer, padaiththadaiththa thiRkidanthu mun_kadainthu ninRaNnakku, adaikkalampu kunthavennai yaNYchalenna vENdumE. (92) At First, in the Beginning You created the oceans and You reclined on it; You churned the ssame for the sweet amudhu (for Devas) and the sweet amudhu (Mahalakshmi) for You; then You had even crossed the ocean by building a bridge across the ocean to go to lankA for the sake of PiraaTTi; [Not just that- further more] You effortlessly tamed and killed majestic strong seven Bulls for the sake of sharp spear like most beautiful eyed Nappinnai PiraaTTi to unite and hug her most fragrant bamboo like shoulders! Oh Lord who reared cattle! I am Your rakshya vasthu (object for saving). Please have mercy on me (adiyEn) and give me an assuaging assuarance saying "abhayam - Do not fear". Last verse, I had mentioned about Your destruction of asurAs for the sake of PiraaTTi. You had done many such deeds for Her sake. Not only did You cross the Ocean. You churned for Her; You reclined on the ocean (for Her enjoyment); I think You created the Ocean itself for just EkAntham with Her reclining on AdhisEshan. You do not have that love not just for Her. You also longed for uniting with Nappinnai PiraaTTi. You tamed and killed the seven huge majestic strong Bulls effortlessly. Not just that even. You behaved as if You were a Cowherd Boy for ages, hiding Your Nature which is completely on the opposite. Hence I can be (I am) also Your object of Your protection and be the recipient of Your daya and mercy. Surrendering is- My act or deed is Holding Your feet that saving Me is Your burden alone- as commented by Periyavaacchaan Pillai. Thus even the last verse- He saved Her as She sought His protection and rescuing Her. Else, if someone is not devoted and does not seek His protection, he does not act on His own and consider that as His pleasure for saving the person- as commented by Periyavaacchaan Pillai. AsrayaNam- Placing the burden of protection of our self at his feet. Thirumazhisai Piraan ThiruvaDigaLE SaraNam Regards Namo Narayana dAsan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
