nin-adaindhEan
thiru-viNNagar mEyavanEa.
The first ten pAsuram-s dedicated to Sri
Oppiliappan exhibited the eagerness of thirumanagi AzhwAr to attain the
Lord.
In the next ten, having failed to reached
the Lord forthwith, kaliyan surrenders at the feet of the Lord with pirATTi's
purushakAram.
"nin adaindhEan
thiru-viNNagar mEyavanEa" is the undertone of this second ten dedicated
to thiruviNNagarappan.
In this process, thirumangai AzhwAr lists
certain thEan-, poru-thEAn, aru-thEan,maRai-thEan etc.
Further, he also describes how the sensory
organs and the wordly pleasures which he was embroiled earlier had left him for
good once and for all. The temporary and futile nature of this worldy
attachments are described and the Lord of thiru-viNNagarappan being
ultimate is highlighted and there kalyan
surrenders unto His divine feet with pirATTi's
purushakAram
Sri PeiryavAchAn piLLai aptly summarises
this as follows:
"..ennudaiya
ikkuRRangaL onRum pArAdhEa dhEvarOduNdAna nirupAdhika sambandhathai pArthu
pirATTi purushakAramAga ennai swEgaritharuLa vEANum' enRu thiruvadigaLilEa
vizhundhu saraNam pugugiRAr.
Oh! Lord do not see
all the sins I have committed . Kinldy consider the natural relationship with me
and with pirATTi's purushakAram, please accept me
and surrenders at the
divine feet of the Lord.
nin-adaindhEan thiruviNNagar
