Once Again,
Please
We find in music concerts or other
great performances that, when audience are extremely enthralled, they request
the performer
"Once More,
please"
This is in ordinary materialistic
parlance. How long can this go on? Let us assume that the once more is repeated
several times. At one point of time perhaps, the audience will say
"Okay, thank you,
enough'
Is there a performance, where this once
more is eternally asked and the performance is eternally satisfying, never
getting
bored and there is an increasing marginal
utility?
We mortals, though equipped to cherish
great works and performances, cannot and do not get submerged in great things
for ever. However, the nithya-sUris who are always immersed in the Lord's
auspicious qualities -desire to hear about Lord's kalyANa guNangaL again and
again.
Where does this happen? For bhagawadh
vishayam -thiru-voi-mozhi -of course. Who is the
performer?
None other than our nam-AzhwAr and who are
the souls who are lost in the trance -they are the blessed jEvAthmAs of
the upper world.
They request swAmi for thiru-voi-mozhi and
on hering the kalyANa guNam request again, ask for once more, go for another
round and on and on, getting greatly satisfied but never reconciling that the
performing can end. They get submerged in the Lord's sEla guNam the krshNa
thrishNA thathvam, the magnum opus thiru-voi-mozhi.
