Nambi-Pimbi
In local parlance people name their wards either famous locally or just or name it to popular figures of the contemporary period. Here nambi refers to a popular figure or a wealthy person. Pimbi refers to the straight opposite one If it is a famous or wealthy one, it will fade after some time as it is due to kArmic effect. That is why AzvAr says 'nAlu nALil azhungip pOme' So whether it is welathy one or otherwise, it makes no difference. The the first nambi is in the context of mortals. AzvAr recommends to name their children with respect to EmperumAn's name and this is their wealth. and thereafter they possess the real wealth and so AzvAr addresses them as 'nambikAL' -owners of real wealth. The text of mAmunikaL vyAkyAnam goes as follows adhAvadhu thirunamam sonnavarkku sahala sampathum vuNdAmpaDi Those who chant His Divine name possess all the wealth and they become 'NambikAL'.
