Swamy's Kainkaryams
In NaimisAranyam swamy prostrated emperuman in the form of a forest (vanaroopi)
and came round ("naimisAraniyath thendaiyai sindaiyul vaiththu kAdhalE
miguththa") honoured by yogasrEstas and then through lakshmaNapuri (lucknow),
karNapuri (Kanpur) reached chitrakooda parvatham ("subhaga: chitrakoodOsow").
There swamy took bath in the divine mandhAgini river where once perumal and
piratti had their divine bath. Swamy stayed in that place for sometime and
meditated on those days when perumal and piratti stayed there and made the
place divine. Then swamy started from there and reached rivA samsthAnam. The
king over there honoured swamy in the appropriate manner and was captured by
the gunapoorti and pAndityam (scholarliness) of swamy. He seated swamy on a
golden palanquin and himself carried the palaquin over his shoulders. He
submitted number of costly jewels, paatu peedhAmbharam to the divine feet of
swamy along with an elephant (gajendran) with golden ambAri. Swamy accepted all
of them for the sake of bhagavat kainkaryam happily. Swamy preached the indepth
meanings (sooshmArthangal) of the Sriramanuja siddhAntham along with pramanas
to the king and left the king filled with ultimate gratefulness towards swamy.
Then swamy went to prayAgai (AllahAbad), bathed in the trivEni and then visited
vAranAsi (kAsi). After doing dharmastApanam over there swamy proceeded to
thiruayOdhi. Swamy visited the janma stAnam (birthplace) of chakravarthi
thirumagan, the kanakabhavanam (the beautiful palace) where perumal and piratti
lived. Swamy then visited mithilai (janakapuram) and finally reached hatva
samstAnam. There the politely king welcomed swamy.
Swamy took a divine bath in the kandakee river (salagrama theertham) and
proceeded his journey uplifting number of jeevatmas all through the way. Then
accepting the request of many sadhusampradaya acharyas and kings swamy
proceeded towards pataleepuram (patna). There swamy took part in a sadhu
sampradAya mahA sabha in which number of mahA vidwans from different parts of
the world along with kasi raja, hatva raja and others took part. All of them
prostrated swamy and humbly requested swamy to lead over the gathering, which
was graciously accepted by swamy and swamy conducted the meet in a very grand
manner. During the meet swamy gave a brilliant lecture in Hindi about the
important aspects of shruti and smriti in a very simple and lucid manner and
immersed everyone gathered over there in immense joy.
After the meet many kings realizing the greatness of swamy welcomed swamy to
their place and honoured swamy greatly. Then swamy through ranikaNj route
reached Sri JagannAtham (puri). There swamy did mangalAsAsanams to
purushOthaman. Further honoured by kings of poppili, vijayanagaram and
piththApuram samasthAnams swamy proceeded his journey to Srikoormam and
SimhAchalam. In those divine kshetras swamy did mangalAsAnams to the emperumans
and through the kAkinAda route finally reached thirumalai.
