lakshmInAthan can be no other than srIman nArAyaNa, who is our first
AchArya, and that is who the "lakshminaathan" in the thaniyan refers
to.

srI piLLai lOkAchAryA is a (very) elder contemporary of svAmi
vEdAnta dEsika. srI piLLai lokAchAryA was the presiding AchArya of
the Ramanuja Sampradaya during his life. srI piLLai lOkAchArya
blessed us with 18 rahasya granthAs that contain explanations of the
essence of our sampradAyam. It was also svAmi piLLai lOkAchAryA who
saved the utsavar (namperumAL) at srIrangam whom we all worship to
this day, by taking the utsavar and travelling with namperumAL to
several places (when he was at a very old age) during the islamic
invasion of srIrangam. Elders teach us that svAmi vEdAnta dEsika
wrote a stOtra on srI piLLai lOkAchArya called "lOkAchArya
pancAsath", expressing his obeisances and devotion to the great
AchArya.

This signature signifies the author taking refuge at the feet of the
three great AchAryAs - nammAzhvAr (AzhvAr), Ramanuja (emperumAnAr)
and maNavALa mAmuni (jIyar).
